So one of the many things I want and will be doing is traveling and eating. Eating different varieties of food, learning different languages, or religions etc. I have always been curious of other cultures and how they do things. Maybe I was a Hippy or a nomad in a past life, lol. I just like to be around other cultures and explore the world. This world is to big not to. I have been traveling damn near all my life. So why not blog about my experiences starting now!
So, I went here on a Saturday. Just picked up my phone and googled Vegan food near me. Cosmic Cafe was the closest, so my love and I hopped in the car and took off. The images for this place does it no justice due to the color and decor that stood out so boldly. It sits off a busy street of Dallas, but the environment is so relaxing you really don't notice the busy cars passing by. What I loved most was the fact that upstairs they had a place where you can do meditation and yoga. One of the workers allowed me a visit up there, but I had to take my shoes off and leave them at the door. If you have ever seen the movie " The Little Princess" then you 'll love this place. I loved that movie as a little girl. I even felt my inner child kick in as I explored the upstairs. There was this dope statue of Ganesha, the elephant head deity with the five arms, that I loved. Music I normally meditate to played as we ate. The staff never introduced their names. That's cool though. It's really a Vegetarian place, not so much vegan, only when it came to the desserts. I ordered the stir- fry but removed any dairy from my food, and my love ordered a black bean burger. While my food was pretty good, that black bean burger gave me life! No Lie! I washed it down with a fruity mango drink. Very good! We ended up sharing a piece of vegan chocolate cake. All I can say is DAMN! Just go visit!

On the weekends is my time to chill and relax. Taking a break from the food prepping and having someone else prepare something hot and ready. My family already knows that Friday and Saturday they are kinda on their own, lol. Well, not really. I like to prepare meals that are easy to prep and fast. So, if you feel like me and live or visiting Dallas, stop by the Pizza Lounge! Yes, they have Vegan options! I fell in love with their pizza when I first went. I have been back about 4x so far. I may practice veganism, but I still love to eat. I don't know why people think we eat just salads, because we don't. No, they don't deliver. It's really worth the trip.
